Space Exploration Fun: The Solar System Scavenger Hunt!
This printable scavenger hunt is a fantastic way to combine learning with a fun game. The Solar System Scavenger Hunt Printable features cards with pictures of planets, the sun, and the moon. Hide the cards around your house or backyard and use the clues to identify the correct planet. As your kids find the picture that matches the clue, they can flip it over to learn more about that object. 
Explore the Stars: Build Your Own Constellation!
Explore the night sky with constellations. Constellations are groups of stars that form recognizable patterns. This activity makes space exploration a hands-on activity, allowing kids to build constellations!
First, Grab a bag of marshmallows and some toothpicks. Next use constellation pictures as a guide to recreate constellations with marshmallows and toothpicks (with adult supervision). Moon Phases: Explore the Phases with Cookies!
For this activity, first, grab a pack of Oreos (or any other similar size cream-filled cookie). Next, look at the different phases of the moon – Check out my free Moon Phase printable downloadable below as a reference. This printable features illustrations of each moon phase as it rotates around Earth. Using a spoon or butter knife, carefully scrape away the frosting on your cookies to create each moon phase that matches the printable. Afterwards, enjoy your delicious moon phases.
